Gsoc Idea : Julia Bindings For SymEngine

Hi eveyone,

SymEngine is one of the fastest Computer Algebra System library and is written in C++. There are Number of Modules that have been implemented in Symengine you can have a look here . Symengine is participating in Gsoc under Sympy this year. The have proposed an idea Improving Julia wrappers for Symengine. Symengine already has python and ruby wrappers with a lot of progress made. But the julia wrapper requires a lot of work as it is in early stage . Here is the link to the repo SymEngine.jl.

I have already drafted a Proposal as I will be applying in Sympy for this project - https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Zjs3UbqMaEiiSkspCLPJmHPFZCOgyP-DIJbhtryRFh4/edit?usp=sharing  

I would love to see this fast library for Julia. If the project is selected in either of them then we can have mentors from both organisations ( an official one and an informal one)

So should I also apply in Julia org too as very less time is left before final submissions.
I would like to have your views.
